Striker over injury blues
Jordan Slew was back in training with Latics today, a boost as they prepare for Saturday's npower League One match at Portsmouth.The 19-year-old striker had returned to npower Championship club Blackburn Rovers for treatment for a back injury.
Slew strained his back a week last Tuesday in the home draw against Walsall.
When he failed to recover in time for last Saturday's game against Stevenage, Slew returned to his parent club for treatment.
