Midfield man ruled out of opener
Latics' preparations for their opening npower League One match of the season at Milton Keynes Dons were dealt a major blow.Key midfield man James Wesolowski (pictured) was ruled out through a hamstring strain.
Wesolowski, who was injured yesterday in training, was replaced by new-signing Cristian Montano resulting in a tactical rejig.
Youssouf M'Changama moved inside to partner Dean Furman in the centre of midfield while Montano was handed a debut on the left flank.
MK Dons also had to shuffle their side as Stephen Gleeson was suspended while Mathias Doumbe and Shaun Williams were injured.
