Baxter, Derbyshire and Wabara to stay?
Paul Dickov has a wish list for Christmas - a list of 50 potential transfer targets for Latics' chairman 'Santa Corney.'Latics' manager is already planning ahead for what could be an eventful January transfer window.
Dickov admitted that extending the stays of Jose Baxter (pictured), Matt Derbyshire and Reece Wabara are his priorities.
He added, however, that contingency plans are in hand in the event of any or all of the players leaving.
"Santa Corney has a list of about 50 names so we will have to see what happens," he explained.
Dickov continued: "We have been speaking with Jose, Matt and Reece and trying to get things set in stone as early as we can so, if for any reason none of them stay, we have others ready to come in.
"I am confident we can keep hold of all three of them unless they are bare-faced liars and they are telling me something differently.
"All the signs are looking good."
Dickov added that all three players have been telling him how much they have been enjoying their football at Boundary Park and expressed a desire to stay.
