Club confident tomorrow's game will go ahead
Latics will hold a precautionary pitch inspection at 9.30am tomorrow to determine whether the npower League One match against Swindon Town takes place.Given the increasing temperatures forecast for today and tomorrow, together with rain, club officials anticipate the game at Boundary Park will go ahead.
Groundstaff and volunteers this morning removed the frost covers.
They discovered frost had in places penetrated the covers which is why match referee Carl Boyseon has been alerted and a decision taken to hold a 9.30am inspection tomorrow.
