Reserve run out for Robbie

Robbie Simpson today gets a run out in Latics' reserve-team match at Burton Albion.

The midfield man/striker (pictured) is back in action after a groin strain.

Though Simpson was an injury-time substitute at Colchester on Saturday, he has not started any of the last five first-team matches.

Youssouf M'Changama, Matt Smith, James Tarkowski and Liam Jacob, all substitutes at Colchester, are named in the starting line up.

Second-year scholar Joe Cooper is back in action after recovering from a gashed knee.

Today's match in Central League, West Division (Divisional) is at St George's Park, the Football Association's new £100 million home to all England's international teams, is behind closed doors.

It is understood the match will take place on the main pitch which is a full-size replica of Wembley.

Team: Jacob, Millar, Mellor, Winchester, Tarkowski, Cooper, Sutherland, M'Changama, Smith, Simpson, Hughes. Subs: Taylor, Coleman, Gosset, Poxon, Jones.
