Latics decide not to appeal
Having today read referee Philip Gibbs' match report and studied video footage of Robbie Simpson's sending off in Saturday's npower League One match at Yeovil Town, Latics have decided not to submit an appeal.Simpson, therefore, serves a three-match suspension which rules him out of the festive games against Doncaster Rovers, Crewe Alexandra and Scunthorpe United.
