Latics' squad will be stretched for the festive programme.Robbie Simpson (pictured) will be an absentee for three matches following yesterday's sending off at Yeovil Town.
The loss of Simpson, allied to the departure of loan player Matt Derbyshire, will leave Latics short of firepower.
Manager Paul Dickov also revealed Cristian Montano picked up a slight thigh strain which was one of the reasons why the winger was taken off at half time.
