Legend back in town
The Junction Inn (bottom of Ripponden Road) will welcome Latics' legend, David Eyres to their hostelry on Saturday (7:30pm) for an evening of football-related banter.
Entry is £6 for tickets bought in advance.
There will also be a raffle of Latics memorabilia, including match worn shirts, with the proceeds going to the fund set up to support victims of the Shaw gas explosion.
Eyres will regale fans with stories of his time in the game and there will also be the opportunity to ask questions, get autographs and have your picture taken with a Latics great.
