Both on shortlist for honours
Paul Dickov and Jose Baxter have been shortlisted the npower League One manager and player-of-the-month awards.Latics collected 11 points from a possible 18 during October which has brought about the top-manager nomination for Dickov.
He is up against Colchester's Joe Dunne and Danny Wilson, of Sheffield United.
Baxter, meanwhile, enjoyed a successful October during which he scored four goals.
The striker's competition for the top-player award comes from Colchester midfield player Craig Eastmond and Sheffield United goalkeeper George Long.
The winners will be announced on Sky Sports News at 10am on Friday, November 17th.
