No jaw fracture for Connor
Connor Brown's jaw injury sustained in yesterday's reserve-team match against Shrewsbury Town is not as bad as was initially feared.An X-ray at the Royal Oldham Hospital has revealed no fracture.
Brown, however, is suffering soreness to both his jaw and neck and this was being assessed at the club today.
Joe Cooper, also taken to hospital yesterday after being hurt in the same match, had four stitches inserted in a deep gash to his left knee.
