Paul Dickov has not ruled Cliff Byrne out of Tuesday's home npower League One match against Bury.Latics' manager is hopeful the defender's rib injury sustained in today's FA Cup with Budweiser first-round tie at Kidderminster Harriers is not serious as it initially looked.
Byrne (pictured) was taken from the field on a stretcher and clearly in great pain after being involved in a collision with team-mate Dean Bouzanis.
Dickov later explained the Irishman is made of stern stuff and hasn't ruled him out of his plans for Tuesday's Boundary Park derby.
