Call made to local businesses
Oldham Athletic Community Trust will be showcasing their work to local organisations and businesses at tomorrow's home npower League One match against Shrewsbury Town.
The presentation, which will take place at 1.30pm in the Sponsors' Suite will spotlight the programmes the Trust delivers throughout the borough for the benefits of the wider community.
There will be a buffet lunch, presentation on the Trust's work, Q+A, an opportunity to discuss how the club, organisations and businesses can work closer for the benefit of Oldham.
Also those attending will also be able to take in the afternoon's match from the comfort of the Sponsor Suite.
The event will start from 1:30pm in the Sponsors Suite.
Martin Vose, Oldham Athletic Community Trust Participation Officer said: "Saturday provides an excellent opportunity for the Community Trust and the club to showcase the fantastic work which is delivered in the borough.
"It offers local businesses/organisations a chance to be a part of the good work through sponsorship and possible funding opportunities and also how the club/Community Trust can help them in return."
David Broadbent, Oldham Athletic Sales and Marketing Executive, added: "The Community Trust do vital work around the Oldham area, not just for the good of the club, but for the whole town.
"I would welcome anybody who feels they might like to be involved in this positive work and to lend a helping hand to the Trust in these difficult times.
