Furman tops auction bids

Latics have received bids totalling £430 for the poppy shirts worn by the players in Saturday's home npower League One game against Tranmere Rovers. 

Captain Dean Furman tops the list of bidders with £150 lodged.

Bids have also been received  for the shirts worn by James Wesolowski, Lee Croft, Cliff Byrne and James Tarkowski.

No bids have been lodged for Dean Bouzanis, Reece Wabara, Jonathan Grounds, Cristian Montano, Matt Derbyshire, Alex Cisak, Connor Brown, Matt Smith, Daniel Taylor, Youssouf M'Changama, Joe Cooper and Chris Sutherland.

The shirts are to be auctioned with money donated to the poppy appeal. 

Seventeen of the 18 shirts - Jose Baxter's is the only one not available - are up for grabs.

The closing date is Friday, December 14th.
