Under-21 cap for Carl
Carl Winchester was named in the Northern Ireland under-21 team to play England in tonight's friendly at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road.Apart from the presence of Winchester (pictured), there was other Latics' connections in the respective line ups.
Also in the Northern Ireland team was former Latics' loanee Matthew Lund.
In goal for England was Manchester United's Ben Amos who had a loan spell at Boundary Park last season.
And on the bench was keeper Sam Johnstone who, too, had a short spell with Latics from the Old Trafford club.
