Seven players ruled out
Latics' troubles continue as their under-18's will again have an injury-depleted side facing second-placed and unbeaten Wrexham tomorrow in the Football League Youth Alliance's North West Conference.Seven players are definitely ruled out with an eighth also a doubt.
The three latest casualties are Joe Cooper and John Pritchard, both hurt playing for the reserves in midweek, Haydn Foulds who has damaged his Achilles tendon running to catch a bus.
Cooper had four stitches inserted in a deep gash to his knee while Pritchard received a painful kick and has swelling to his leg.
Luke Simpson, Michael Brewster and Will Kinder remain on the injured list while Chris Sutherland is again on first-team duty.
Joe Edwards is also a doubt through illness.
Head of Youth Tony Philliskirk will add at least four schoolboys to the squad and there is a chance that an under-15 player will be involved.
Tomorrow's match is at Chapel Road, kick off 11am.
