Latics' man to face England
Latics' Centre of Excellence player Danny Byrnes has won a Wales call up.The schoolboy is named in the Wales under-16 squad to play England at Port Talbot on Thursday.
The Sky Victory Shield match, which kicks off at 7.30pm, is being televised live.
Byrnes, who attends St Thomas More RC School, Denton, is an attacking midfield player.
He made an appearance for the under-18's as a substitute in the FA Youth Cup, first-round win against Accrington Stanley.
