Football League meeting

18 October 2012

Cost of policing, youth development, website on agenda

Latics' Chief Executive Neil Joy is today attending a meeting of Football League clubs in Walsall.

There is a wide ranging agenda which includes the cost of policing, youth development and ongoing problems with the launch of websites for 86 member clubs.

The charges for policing continues to be a drain on income and a concern for clubs in the current economic climate.

There have been massive changes to youth development following the introduction of the Elite Player Performance Plan.

And problems with the launch of the website persist with Football League Chairman Greg Clarke personally taking charge of the matter.
