A late goal from Youssouf M'Changama earned Latics reserves a 1-1 draw in this afternoon's friendly against Bury at Chapel Road.It was a decent workout according to reserve-team manager Lee Duxbury.
Latics played some good football with Duxbury saying all that was missing was an end product.
Bury took the lead midway through the opening half when Latics failed to clear a cross.
They equalised with 15 minutes left when M'Changama found the net with a terrific left-foot drive from 25 yards.
Duxbury picked out Carl Winchester and M'Changama as his side's stand-out performers adding Matt Smith also did well during his 45-minute workout.
