Mounted police at Boundary Park
There will be a larger police presence than usual at Boundary Park for tomorrow's npower League One match between Latics and Leyton Orient, even though it has been categorised as a low-risk match.Greater Manchester Police are training new horses and need a suitable location to work them when the demand is a little less than normal.
GMP contacted Latics to see if they use tomorrow's game for their training exercise at no cost to the club.
Latics were only too happy to help GMP.
