Jean-Yves M'voto lost his ever-present status for Latics in this afternoon's home npower League One match against Preston North End.The big centre half failed a fitness test on the ankle he injured in the midweek win at Crewe.
M'voto was replaced by James Tarkowski (pictured) who took over from him late in the opening half at the Alexandra Stadium.
Tarkowski for M'voto was the one change from midweek.
Preston had Shane Cansdell-Sherriff replacing Paul Huntington in the centre of defence, their one change from the midweek win at Doncaster where Huntington picked up a knock.
