Blackburn to field three full internationals

Latics' reserves face a Blackburn Rovers side featuring three full internationals in this afternoon's Lancashire Senior Cup tie.

Striker Colin Kazim-Richards, midfield David Dunn and goalkeeper Greg Sandomierski are named in an experienced Rovers' line up.

Kazim-Richards, capped 36 times by Turkey, last season won league titles in Turkey for Galatasaray and in Greece during a loan spell with Olympiakos.

Dunn has played once for England at full level while Sandomierski has represented Poland three times.

Kazim-Richards will provide a stern challenge for Latics' rookie central-defensive pairing of Glenn Belezika and Tom Clarke.

Belezika is a first-year professional and Clarke a first-year scholar.

Latics will field a young side with their most senior player Matt Smith who is aged 23.

Latics: L Simpson, Brown, Mellor, M'Changama, Belezika, Clarke, Millar, Winchester, Smith, Taylor. Subs: Jones, Coleman, Sutherland, Wandless, McIntosh.

Rovers: Sandomierski, A Henley, Henrique, Molina, Daly, Ribeiro, Jorge, Rochina, Rosado, Dunn, Kazim-Richards. Subs: Morris, Urwin, R Hanley, Junior, O'Sullivan.

The match takes place at Blackburn's Brockhall Village training ground at Old Langho (BB5 8FA) kick off 1pm.
