Young players set to leave to get experience
Latics are prepared to loan up to four of their young players to get valuable experience.And the first of the temporary transfers could be completed today.
As Latics' reserves only have a trunctated fixture list - there are rarely more than two games each month - they are restricted with their match action.
Manager Paul Dickov also wants them to have the physical demands of competitive football.
"However well they have done in the reserves, as they showed at Blackburn on Wednesday, they need to go out and play 'proper' football," he explained.
