Club claims mistaken identity
Latics have lodged an appeal to the Football Association against Cliff Byrne's sending off in their npower League One win at Portsmouth.The appeal, which had to be submitted by 1pm today, is based on the grounds of mistaken identity.
Latics are now awaiting a decision from the FA.
