Brown, Byrne in the spotlight
Latics' pair Connor Brown and Cliff Byrne will be appearing tomorrow on BSkyB's SoccerAM, though not in the flesh.It can safely be said the reason those two players are featuring is because of the sending-off controversy at Portsmouth last Saturday.
Byrne was dismissed but it was later overturned on appeal on the grounds of mistaken identity with Brown later handed the three-man ban which had initially been given to the Irishman.
