Olympic event to mark relaunch
Youngsters had fun as Oldham Athletic yesterday relaunched Boundary Blues by hosting a free fun day on the club's 'Little Wembley' training pitch.
The activities had an Olympics theme with children encouraged to take part in sports and go for gold!
The fun day took place prior to the home game against Notts County between noon and 3pm with all Boundary Blues members invited to attend along with other under-16's.
The sports will include traditional track and field as well as some more unusual events with medals for the winners.
Football and street cheer coaching were also available, Wii sessions for those looking for a less active day while there was a visit from Latics' manager Paul Dickov and goalkeeper Liam Jacob, and of course, Chaddy the Owl.
This was the first of many Boundary Blues events taking place this season and is a fantastic way for kids to get involved in the game and support Latics.
Membership of the Boundary Blues is FREE with members receiving four editions of the new online magazine 'Chaddy Chatter' which will be packed full of player profiles, interviews, photos and competitions.
Chaddy Chatter is the perfect way to keep up to date with news from Latics, as well as FREE entry into a number of great competitions with unique prizes. This season over 1,000 young people showed their support by signing up to the £10 season ticket offer and are now proud members of the Boundary Blues.
As a thank you the club will be offering great rewards including Boundary Blues Soccer Schools on the Boundary Park pitch, player visits, matchday experiences, ticket giveaways, fun events, a specific matchday tuck shop and much much more.
In addition Boundary Blues members are the only ones who get chance to be a matchday mascot - a once in a lifetime opportunity – for FREE. You can join the Boundary Blues now, request your application pack by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org – so join now and don’t miss out!
