It will be a strange week with no first team Saturday fixture for Latics so early in the season.The npower League One match at Doncaster Rovers has been postponed due to Latics having three players away on international duty.
Captain Dean Furman is with South Africa while Carl Winchester and Kirk Millar are needed by Northern Ireland.
Tuesday, September 4th: Johnstone's Paint Trophy (North East, round one): Chesterfield v Latics at The Proact Stadium, kick off 7pm.
Saturday, September 8th: Football League Youth Alliance, North West Conference: Latics under-18's v Macclesfield Town at Chapel Road, kick off 11am.
