Federico's short stay is over
Federico Bessone's short stay with Latics is over before he kicked a ball in a competitive match for the club.The 29-year-old Argentine (pictured) was injured in his third training session with the club.
And with the season about to end, there was little likelihood that the left-back would recover from the calf injury and force his way into the first-team reckoning having not played since leaving Swindon Town in January.
"Federico made a big effort to join us but, sadly, it didn't work out for either party," explained manager Lee Johnson.
