Fede in reserve side
Federico 'Fede' Bessone makes his debut for Latics in today's reserve-team match against Walsall at Chapel Road, kick off 1pm.The left-back, a free agent, was signed on loan transfer deadline day last week accepting a deal for the remainder of the season.
Latics will field a strong side which includes loan signing Bobby Reid, Matt Smith and Cristian Montano.
Manager Lee Johnson wants Smith to have a full 90 minutes for the reserves following his lay off with a badly bruised knee.
That is why Smith was not included in Latics' matchday squad yesterday against Colchester.
