Latics to play Shakers

It's derby day and Latics are off to Gigg Lane to play Bury.

It is a massive npower League One match for both teams with Latics just outside the relegation places while Bury are bottom of the table.

Bury are Latics' nearest opponents and the club is expecting a bumper turnout from fans this afternoon.

Latics have received an allocation of 2,100 tickets and, for those who haven't purchased their tickets in advance, the good news is that they are also available on the turnstiles at Gigg Lane.

The prices are adults £19, over-65's, under-16's and unemployed with ID £12, young persons aged 16/21 years £15.

Ambulant disabled and wheelchair users are £12 with carer free.

It has been a difficult week for Bury who announced they need to raise £1million to ensure their survival.

And on the field it has been equally challenging with only one win in their last eight games.

Latics last won at Gigg Lane in 1971 and, after last season's goalless draw in the corresponding fixture, what better time for them to come away with three points.
