Manager appeals for help

Lee Johnson is calling on fans to be Latics' extra man as they prepare for this afternoon's Boundary Park visit of Colchester United.

Latics' manager is acutely aware the important part supporters can play in helping the team win today's npower League One basement battle.

Johnson said: "The support from the fans in the last two games was fantastic.

"They sang their hearts out against Hartlepool and I am sure it helped us win that game.

"And there was a great turnout on Friday at Swindon Town where the fans also gave us great support."

Johnson is urging fans to brave the cold and come to the game to cheer on the team as a win today will lift Latics out of the relegation places.

He continued: "The more fans who turn up the better as the louder they cheer and the more encouragement they give puts pressure on the opposition.

"We saw that against Hartlepool and let's hope we can do the same again today."

Adults can watch today's game from £19.

Ticket prices are £20 for adults in the Main Stand Upper with over-65's, under-16's and students all £10.

In Main Stand Lower the prices are £19 and £9 respectively.

Prices for the Chaddy End and Rochdale Road Stand are £20 for adults, £10 concessions with under-16's in both stands £5.

Colchester fans will be accommodated in the small section of the Rochdale Road Stand.

Students are reminded they must hold Oldham Athletic student membership which is available from the ticket office.
