Loan spell ends for Jordan

Jordan Obita has returned to Reading following a two-month loan with Latics.

The 19-year-old winger's deal expired after yesterday's home npower League One match against Colchester United.

Obita came on as a substitute for what was his 10th and final appearance for the club.

Manager Lee Johnson said: "I have spoken to Jordan and he has enjoyed his time here.

"Reading have a new manager (Nigel Adkins) and Jordan is keen to go back and impress him.

"I would like to thank Jordan for his service and also to his parent club for allowing him to join us."

Johnson added that he is lucky to be well blessed with wide players saying Lee Croft, the fit-again Cristian Montano, Bobby Reid, Kirk Millar and David Mellor are all vying for a place in the team.
