Jose completes Blades transfer
Jose Baxter tonight completed a transfer to Latics' Sky Bet League 1 rivals Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee.The 21-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Blades.
Baxter signed for Latics in September 2012 after rejecting the offer of a new two-year contract with Everton as he wanted to play regular first-team football.
He became an instant hit at Boundary Park and his final match for Latics against Port Vale last Saturday was his 50th first-team appearance for the club which yielded 17 goals.
