Danny on international duty
Latics' scholar Danny Byrnes has been in action for Wales this week.The midfield man (pictured) appeared in two friendly under-17 internationals against Malta which were staged in Newport.
The friendlies were part of the build up for a UEFA under-17 qualifying tournament in Slovenia next month.
Byrnes played the whole match on Tuesday as Wales beat Malta 4-0.
And he appeared for the opening period yesterday when Wales lost 3-2.
