Dover to Calais mission for Stiggy
While Latics are visiting Peterborough tomorrow in Sky Bet League 1, diehard fan John Stigwood will be rowing the English Channel.He will be aiming to cover the 22 miles from Dover to Calais, though it will be on a machine at Elite Gym, Shaw.
The 50-year-old HGV lorry driver, who lives on Limeside, is raising money for Dr Kershaw's Hospice and Diabetics UK.
Each year John, who is best known as 'Stiggy,' undertakes a challenge to mark his birthday and the latest is being done to mark his 51st which will be celebrated later this year.
