Latics under-12's on cloud nine

Latics under-12's produced a remarkable turnabout in their match against Rochdale.

When Latics' youngsters were 3-1 down, they would have had no inkling that they would eventually emerge 9-4 victors.

There was a hat trick for James Fletcher, two goals apiece for Jack Sloane and Will Roberts and one each for Jack Worrall and Matty Knott.

THE under-14's made it nine wins from 13 games this season with a 7-2 victory against Rochdale.

Mwiya Malumo netted a hat trick as did a trialist with Joe Nuttall also finding the net after another convincing performance.

THE under-16's twice fought back after falling behind to draw 2-2 against Rochdale.

Both goals, the second a last-minute equaliser, came from trialists.

KIAN Broadbent and Kane Badby both scored for the under-10's who also drew 2-2 against Dale.

It was a good performance from Latics who played some good, disciplined football.
