Latics' defender Edijs Joksts could be back in action sooner than anticipated.A scan has revealed the stress fracture of his back is not as serious as was feared.
It was originally thought Joksts (pictured), injured on international duty with Latvia under-21's, would be out for a minimum of 10 weeks.
