James named as October's top player
James Tarkowski is pictured being presented with the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre player-of-the-month award for October.The central defender received a £100 cheque before Saturday's FA Cup tie against Mansfield Town from Spindles' manager Mike Flanagan. It will be donated to the players' charity.
It is a measure of Tarkowski's consistency that he has won two of the three awards determined so far by the votes of fans. Italian Matteo Lanzoni was the other recipient landing the September prize.
