Tribute to be paid at Anfield
Following the sad passing away of former Latics and Liverpool player Wayne Harrison the teams will wear black armbands in a sign of respect. There will also be a minute's silence held before the match.
Both clubs feel that this is fitting tribute to a player that served both clubs so well.
Wayne was a product of the youth system at Boundary Park before being transferred to Liverpool in 1985 for £250,000. He had only made 5 appearances for the Latics and this was a record fee for a teenager.
