Latics lose long-standing supporter
Latics are saddened to hear of the death of Evelyn Butterworth at the age of 93.Evelyn was the wife of the late Geoffrey who was a former Director and President of the club.
She had been a Latics' fan and season-ticket holder in the Vice Presidents' section at Boundary Park for over 65 years.
Evelyn's children Margaret and David are also season-ticket holders and everybody at the football club offers sincere condolences to them and all the Butterworth family at this sad time.
