Have a blue day

2 February 2013

Raise funds for Dr Kershaw's

Is your school, office or workplace beginning to catch FA Cup fever?

Then why not have a 'Blue Day for Dr K' and show your support for the Latics as well as raising money for Dr Kershaw's Hospice.

The Oldham Chronicle has launched the innovative fundraiser in a bid to get the community behind the Latics.

All you have to do is get your school, office or workplace to host a 'Blue Day for Dr K' in the next two weeks and get everyone to enjoy a dress-down or non-uniform day dressed in blue in exchange for a £1 donation.

Let the Chronicle know when you are holding your 'Blue Day for Dr K' and they will come along to take photographs.

And once you pay in your money you will receive a copy of the Chronicle with your photograph in and specially-printed Chronicle Cup posters for each of the participants.

All the profits will go to the Royton hospice.

It's great fun and raises money for a great charity in the bargain. A win-win, just like we hope it will be for the boys in blue against Premier League high-flyers Everton on Saturday, February 16th.
