Screwfix Direct teams up with football club

Latics have teamed up with Screwfix Direct to celebrate the opening of their first store in Oldham.

Screwfix Direct opened their doors on Junction Trade Park, Hollinwood, to offer great deals and prices on top brands.

Latics'  striker Daniel Taylor accompanied Sales and Marketing Executive David Broadbent to the opening weekend where they were greeted by branch manager Paul Molloy and his team including Chester, the Screwfix mascot, who made an appearance at Boundary Park for the Portsmouth game.

Speaking about the new link up, David Broadbent said: "We are delighted to welcome Screwfix Direct into both the town and the club.

"There will be some Screwfix branding around the stadium and we hope to bring our supporters some great exclusive offers.

"This will be a long-term relationship for the club and I’m very much looking forward to working with Paul and his team."

"Over the coming months we are going to be working closely with Oldham Athletic Football Club, forging an ongoing relationship, which will benefit both customers and fans alike.”

"Oldham Athletic is synonymous with quality, exceptional performance and a desire to win, achieved through dedication and drive.

Paul Molloy, Screwfix Oldham branch manager added: "Screwfix Direct is proud to have forged links with Oldham’s most historic football club.
