Latics' message to supporters is to get down early on Monday - the ticket office reopens at 9am - to make sure they don't miss out.
Fans are reminded there are no ticket sales on the day of the match so tomorrow is the last chance for supporters to buy them, subject to availability.
By closing time, ticket sales were over 3,500.
Tickets went on open sale between 10am and 2pm today with business brisk at the Boundary Park ticket office as queues again formed.
Latics will have a huge travelling army of fans for Tuesday's FA Cup with Budweiser, fifth-round replay at Everton.
