FA warning to Latics
Oldham Athletic request that supporters refrain from coming on to the Boundary Park pitch at tomorrow's FA Cup with Budweiser, fifth-round tie against Everton.Peter Davis, the club's safety officer, said: "Although the pitch invasion at the end of the previous round was to celebrate the victory over Liverpool, the Football Association has reminded the club of its responsibilities and the possible repercussions should there be a repeat."
He also reminded fans that missile throwing is not only a criminal offence but also extremely dangerous to other supporters and will not be tolerated.
