Defender substituted as precaution
James Tarkowski is a slight injury worry for Latics' FA Cup with Budweiser, fifth-round replay at Everton.The young central defender (pictured) was substituted in the dying minutes of yesterday's npower League One win against Portsmouth.
Tarkowski was taken off as a precaution after complaining of a tight hamstring and management are optimistic he will be alright for Tuesday.
James Wesolowski, who came off at Stevenage with the same problem, sat out yesterday's game, but hopes to be back for the cup replay.
Latics are monitoring his fitness on a daily basis and there is every chance he will return at Goodison Park.
