Debuts for Iweluma, Barnard
Latics unleashed a new strikeforce on Walsall in today's npower League One match at the Banks's Stadium.New loan signings Chris Iwelumo (pictured) and Lee Barnard were the front pairing.
They replaced Matt Smith and Robbie Simpson, the front duo against Liverpool, who were both ruled out through injury.
Latics' team showed four changes from Sunday with Smith, Simpson, Youssouf M'Changama and Reece Wabara all absentees.
Also winning starting spots were right-back Connor Brown and midfield man Carl Winchester.
Fellow new signings Jordan Obita and Paul Murray were on the bench.
