Five changes from midweek
Caretaker Manager Tony Philliskirk made five changes from the midweek win at Stevenage for this afternoon's home match against Portsmouth in npower League One.Philliskirk reverted to essentially the team which drew 2-2 against Everton last Saturday in the fifth round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.
The only change from that starting line up was Dean Furman (pictured) replacing the injured James Tarkowski.
Latics are unbeaten in three league and cup games while Pompey have not won in their last 21 competitive fixtures, though they have drawn their last two games.
Latics (4-4-2): Bouzanis; Brown, Tarkowski, M'voto, Grounds; Croft, Furman, Baxter, Obita; Barnard, Iwelumo. Subs: Cisak, Simpson, Smith, Byrne, Murray, Millar, Mellor.
Portsmouth (4-4-2): Eastwood; Moutaouakil, Sodje, Gyepes, Butler; Wallace, Ertl, Racon, Walker; Akinde, Agyemang. Subs: Smith, Reed, Connolly, Keene, Harris, Webster, Rocha.
