Derbyshire loses out
It was a goal which was claimed by both Matt Derbyshire and Jose Baxter.In the end the disputed second scored by Latics in their 2-0 victory at Colchester United in npower League One has not been credited to either, but as an own goal by keeper Mark Cousins.
The ruling has been made by the 'Dubious Goals Committee' which states the goal cannot be claimed by Derbyshire (pictured), who had the initial shot, and the referee correctly awarded it as an own goal.
