Manager encounters new problem
Paul Dickov has encountered a new problem as he bids to strengthen his Latics' squad.Latics' manager says the club's run in the FA Cup with Budweiser has had one negative effect.
He explained: "We are trying really hard to bring players in, but since the win against Nottingham Forest things have slightly changed.
"Clubs suddenly think we have a lot of money.
"What they don't realise is that most, if not all, of the money from the Forest and Liverpool games, is going towards the upkeep of the club which is the most important thing."
He added that while he would like to strengthen the squad, the financial stability of the club is the prime consideration.
