Youssouf out for the season
Youssouf M'Changama will not play again for Latics in the current campaign.A scan has revealed that the midfield man, injured in Sunday's FA Cup with Budweiser, fourth-round win against Liverpool, has snapped a medial ligament in his left knee.
If there is any bright news on the horizon, the scan has shown there is no damage to either the cruciate ligament or cartilage.
M'Changama was hurt following a challenge by Liverpool's Raheem Sterling for which he was booked.
Latics have been dealt two further injury blows from Sunday.
A scan has revealed that two-goal hero Matt Smith has a posterior labral tear in his shoulder and he is likely to be out for between two and three weeks.
Robbie Simpson also sustained a slight tear to his hamstring and he will be ruled out of the next two league matches against Walsall and Yeovil.
