Latics fear lengthy lay off
Latics fear Cristian Montano may face a lengthy injury lay off after he was injured in yesterday's npower League One match at Scunthorpe United.It looks as though the winger may have torn a thigh muscle.
Montano (pictured) was removed from the pitch on a stretcher after pulling up sharply after being fouled early in the match.
The winger immediately raised his arm after tumbling to the ground to signal he was in serious trouble.
Manager Paul Dickov explained that the initial diagnosis is a torn thigh muscle adding, if that is confirmed, it would possibly mean a long absence.
